Our team offers professional photography for the district which is used on the website, in publications, and on social media.
The district must have consent from parents or guardians to use student images for publicity. This permission is requested during enrollment and returning student registration. Identifiable images of students whose parents or guardians have waived photo use will not be used in any publications - including social media, on the website, or by news media. For example, if a child that is named student of the month is on the district's "no photo list," their image and name will not be used when publicly promoting students of the month.
If parents or guardians are unsure of their students' photo use permission, or would like it changed, they can access this setting through PowerSchool or by emailing communications@onalaskaschools.com.
