School Psychology Services
"School psychologists apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. They partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.” (Adapted from National Association of School Psychologists)
School Psychologists have many various responsibilities in our schools. One primary role of the school psychologist is to facilitate the process when a child is referred for an evaluation to determine if they have a disability and are eligible for special education services in the school setting. Please reach out to Student Services at 608-783-4610 or the numbers below for specific buildings if you need to be connected with one of our School Psychologists.
