Welcome to Homecoming 2026! We’re excited to celebrate another week of Ona Pride with our students, families, staff, alumni, and community. From dress-up days and the Homecoming Parade to Friday night football, there are plenty of ways to join in the fun. Use this page to find everything you need to know about Homecoming events, schedules, the parade route, and more. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate our Hilltoppers and Climb Together!
Homecoming Shirts
2026 Homecoming shirts are now available to purchase online! Shirts will be delivered to the school of your choosing.
Best of all? The shirts are being made by our ONAbility students in their Endless Possibilities Print Shop! Support Onalaska and support these hardworking students!
The deadline to order a 2026 Homecoming shirt is Sunday, September 6!
Spirit Dress-Up Days
Homecoming Parade
This year's annual Homecoming Parade will begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18.
The parade features our Onalaska High School Hilltopper Marching Band, as well as student-made floats, sports teams, and student clubs.
Similar to past years, the parade route will start on Wilson Street near Onalaska High School, travel north on 8th Ave S to Irving Pertzsch Elementary, then head back south on Oak Ave S to Onalaska High School.
District Families: Each of our schools typically organizes a trip for their students (or a portion of their students) to attend the Homecoming Parade. You will receive additional details from your school when this is solified.
The entire Onalaska community is invited! We hope you'll find a spot along the parade route, enjoy the band, see all our student teams and clubs, and cheer on the Hilltoppers!
Football Game
All roads lead to a Homecoming edition of Friday Night Lights as our Onalaska Hilltoppers host Baraboo High School.
Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. at Onalaska High School.
Tickets to the game can be purchased online through Bound. Prices are as follows:

Homecoming Dance (OHS)
Onalaska High School students continue the Homecoming Week tradition of a school-wide dance on Saturday. You can find the time, location, and ticket information below.
The Onalaska Homecoming Dance is open to students in Grades 9-12 only. Onalaska High School students may bring one guest from another high school, subject to the school's established guest approval process.
Date: Saturday, September 19
Location: Onalaska High School Fieldhouse
Time: 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (doors close at 8:30 p.m.)
Ticket Information
- Tickets to the dance are $6 per student.
- Student IDs are needed to purchase the ticket online.
- Students that have been approved to bring a guest from another high school will need to get a number from the Activities Director to purchase their guest's ticket online.
